not really – go online and check out the cool electric bikes- one good site is http://www.chargedelectricscooters.com. This gives you a really functional and fun biking experience- buy your yard stuff at Lowes and bike stuff online.

No, but they will sell you a shed to keep your bike in.

    HTH

No, you don’t want a bike from a department store anyway. Go to the local bike shop.

I will not endorse them, but costco might be your best bet, since they have a liberal return policy and tend to sell “good goods”. Returns cost them profit.
You probably still need an experienced bike guy to go over the build.

If you buy a bike from a store such as that … you’ll wind up taking it to a shop (bicycle shop) to get it fixed by summer’s end. Why not just start at the bike shop and get a good bike that fits and is adjusted correctly? You’ll be happier and far better off.

None of the discount stores or the department stores have a real mechanic putting bikes together. Things are not adjusted or tuned up and you will have problems with loose spokes, maladjusted spokes and wheels, gear shifters and breaks. Plus, there is a great chance that the bike won’t even fit whomever it is purchased for.

    GO TO A BIKE SHOP!
